In St. Petersburg, working traffic has been opened along the overpass of the right-hand direction of the transport interchange at the intersection of the Moskovsky Highway with Dunaysky Prospekt.
The interchange will ensure continuous transport links between the main highways in the south of the city and relieve the road network of the Moskovsky and Frunzensky districts.
The construction of the transport interchange was carried out in two stages. In December 2023, the first stage was completed and the working movement along the 650-meter-long left-hand overpass was opened. To date, work on the right overpass has also been fully completed.
The total length of the interchange is 1,460 meters, including an overpass with approaches 924 meters long. Pavilions have been installed at public transport stops, pedestrian sidewalks and a bike path with a total length of 1.3 km have been arranged. The construction of two underground pedestrian crossings with elevators for low-mobility groups of residents continues.
