The restoration of the Trout Tower in Izvar will be completed in 2026

It is planned to complete the restoration of the Trout Tower in the Volosovsky district of the Leningrad region in 2026.

The Museum Agency of the Leningrad Region has attracted a grant from the Vladimir Potanin Foundation for a project to restore this object and create a permanent exhibition in it.

The trout Tower is located on the territory of the N. K. Roerich Estate Museum in Izvar. This is a rare industrial structure that served as a water tower for supplying water to agricultural buildings, in particular, trout farms.

The opening of the Trout Tower to visitors after restoration will create additional opportunities for the development of cultural, historical and ecological tourism in the Volosovsky district of the Leningrad region.
