Preparations are underway for the next stage – in July, specialists will begin road works,” Dmitry Galkaev said during the workshop.
Road workers will straighten the area near Luisinskaya Street, arrange sidewalks, a bike path and a closed storm sewer to collect surface and drainage water. The new road surface will be laid on 4,690 sq. m. m of the roadway. To ensure road safety, the builders will install new lighting poles and road signs, as well as apply markings with thermoplastic materials.
The builders will bring the 670-meter-long section into a standard condition, which will make the movement of motorists and pedestrians more comfortable and safer, as well as ensure transport accessibility of the residential area in the Petrodvorets district, simplify access to the New Peterhof railway station.
The workers’ movement along Yuta Bondarovskaya Street from Luisinskaya Street to the passage in Suvorovsky Gorodok is planned to open in November 2024. Reconstruction will begin next year on the section from the passage in Suvorovsky Gorodok to the Ropshinsky highway. The project documentation has already been developed.
