The regions with the cheapest and most expensive country houses are named

Sberbank’s Domclick analysts studied the ads for the sale of suburban real estate at the beginning of June and identified the regions of Russia where it costs the cheapest and most expensive.

The leader of the June rating of regions with the most affordable suburban housing was the Smolensk region, where the median cost per square meter of a country house was 31.1 thousand rubles. For comparison: the average price of a “square” in Russia is 59.3 thousand rubles.

The top 5 regions with the lowest prices for suburban real estate also included the Kurgan Region (34.5 thousand rubles), the Jewish Autonomous Region (35.1 thousand), Oryol (35.5 thousand) and Irkutsk regions (35.5 thousand).

According to analysts, the highest prices for country houses were in St. Petersburg (143.2 thousand rubles per square meter), Moscow (127.2 thousand) and the Altai Republic (111.5 thousand).
