The power engineers of SUE TEK SPb are reconstructing the largest boiler house of SUE TEK SPb on Bogaichuka Street in the village of Metallostroy.
During the modernization, the 1977-built source will be transferred from a steam thermal mechanical circuit to a hot water one and its installed capacity will be increased from 33.72 Gcal/h to 59.34 Gcal/h.
The technical re-equipment will ensure uninterrupted heat supply to 55 buildings, including 7 children’s and educational institutions. This is about 20 thousand residents of the village. In addition, conditions are being created for connecting new heat consumers.
The first stage of technical re-equipment of the boiler house is currently underway. The residents of Metallostroy will feel positive changes in the next heating season of 2024-2025. A new boiler room has already been equipped, in which three boilers with a total capacity of 39 MW have been installed. They will be put into operation by autumn.
The second stage includes the dismantling of existing boilers and the installation of two more Russian-made hot water units in their place. The project is specifically divided into two stages so as not to stop the production of heat and hot water for consumers. After the complete reconstruction, the boiler room will receive two modern boiler rooms.
Replacing outdated steam boilers with hot water boilers will increase the efficiency of the boiler house from 86% to 94%.
