In St. Petersburg, the gross volume of rental transactions in class A and B business centers in the first half of the year amounted to almost 172 thousand square meters, Maris analysts calculated.

According to their data, relative to the indicators of the first half of 2023, the volume of demand in the segment of high-quality office real estate increased by 43.6%.
In the second quarter of this year, the level of business activity was lower (-34.4%) than in the first. If in the first quarter demand prevailed in the segment of class A office centers, in the second quarter demand was distributed almost equally between Class A and B office centers (47% and 53%).
According to the results of the first half of the year, the financial sector of the economy took the leading position in demand due to two large office space lease transactions concluded in the first quarter of this year (42% of gross demand). The construction and design sectors are in second place in terms of leased space (12%). Companies in the real sector of the economy are in third place (10%).
