Prices for accommodation in hotels, apartments and sanatoriums in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region in the summer of 2024 reached 7.7-7.8 thousand rubles, and in holiday homes, campsites and glamping – exceeded 10 thousand rubles. Glamping was booked almost 3 times more often than a year earlier. This is stated in the study of the Yandex Travel service.
The average price for bases and rest homes was 10.5 thousand rubles per night, camping — 10.3 thousand rubles, glamping — 10.2 thousand rubles. It was possible to spend the night on the farm for an average of 8.3 thousand rubles, and in a guest house — for 5.1 thousand rubles. Hostels with a cost of 1.8 thousand rubles per night have traditionally become the most budget-friendly type of accommodation. On average, it was possible to book a room in both regions for an average of 7.4 thousand rubles per night.
In addition to glamping, tourists’ interest in recreation centers increased last season: the number of such bookings in the high season increased 1.8 times compared to last year. Guest houses and campsites were chosen 1.6 times more often, and hotels — 1.3 times more often.
