New public spaces have appeared in the Leningrad region

New public spaces have been landscaped in the Leningrad Region under the national Housing and Urban Environment project.

A whole sports cluster has been created in the village of Torfyanoye – next to the existing football and basketball fields, a sports ground for children and adults has been created, a place for everyone to relax in the fresh air. Modern sports equipment and small architectural forms have been installed here, a rubber coating has been installed, trees and shrubs have been planted, lawns have been arranged and benches have been installed.

A landscaped space has also been created in the village of Priozerny in the Luga district for residents of any age: with lawns, a children’s playground, small forms on the playground, benches, gazebos, modern lighting and equipped parking.

Also on the eve of the festive opening of the landscaped embankment in Kovashi took place. There are swings, benches, and a picturesque observation deck overlooking the river and the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The project was developed by the regional Competence Center and approved by the residents. The work was carried out under the regional program for improving the quality of the urban environment.
