In the Neva Garden, located within the boundaries of the Revolution Highway, Piskarevsky, Sredneokhtinsky and Polyustrovsky Avenues, work has begun on the construction of outdoor lighting.
Previously, there was no lighting here. At the request of residents of the Krasnogvardeysky district, the facility was included in the Targeted Program of the Committee on Energy.
181 architectural supports will be installed on the territory of the green zone, 236 LED lamps and 77 floodlights will be installed. As a result, pedestrian paths and two playgrounds will be illuminated. Since 2013, the garden has been decorated with works selected as part of the Symposium on Urban Sculpture. These business cards of the garden will be illuminated by floodlights, emphasizing the expressiveness and relief of architectural compositions.
Currently, work is underway to develop a trench for laying more than 7 km of cable line. The facility is scheduled to be fully completed in October 2025.
