The delegation of the Leningrad Region is strengthening ties with key Belarusian industry authorities and enterprises.
Yevgeny Baranovsky, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region for Construction and Housing and Communal Services, discussed prospects for cooperation within the framework of import substitution in infrastructure projects with Deputy Minister of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Shvayunov.
The parties assessed the mutual work as effective, noted a twofold increase in trade turnover over the past year and agreed to expand cooperation in the industry, including through the supply of raw materials and finished equipment.
Yevgeny Baranovsky also held a session with Minsk designers who intend to enter the construction market of the region, and appreciated the work of the Keramin plant.
Sergey Kharlashkin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Leningrad Region for Transport and Fuel and Energy Complex, discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of road construction with Belavtodor Holding and assessed the progress of the construction of MKAD-II around the city of Minsk. The experience of the republic is of interest to the regional road transport industry in the implementation of the most important projects in the region – KAD-2 and SMSD.
