The Russian IT company Codex has moved to a new office, occupying 6,000 square meters in the Ostrov business center in Vasileostrovsky district. IPG consulting company acted as a consultant for the transaction.Estate.

Business Center “Ostrov” is an eight–storey class B+ project with a total area of 30.3 thousand square meters. The business center occupies a reconstructed historical building and is located in the most active and infrastructurally developed part of Vasilievsky Island at the address: Sredny Prospekt V.O., 36/40. In the immediate vicinity of the Vasileostrovskaya metro station. The management and development of the facility is handled by UK SOLO.

JSC “Information Company “Codex” (Consortium “Codex”) is a company with a thirty–year history and solutions focused on the needs of Russian enterprises throughout Russia. Holds a leading position in the field of information systems creation and digitalization of work with regulatory and technical documents.

To date, the Consortium’s central office, located in St. Petersburg, employs more than 700 employees, and previously the company occupied office space in a large business center, near the Petrogradskaya metro station. However, in order to increase work efficiency, due to the growing demand for more technologically equipped premises, as well as for more comfortable accommodation, the management of the Codex Consortium decided to search for a new office location. The city center was still being considered. But the difficulty of the move was the need to implement the rapid relocation of the company’s servers to a new location that meets all modern technical requirements and guarantees their smooth operation.

The offer in the Ostrov business center fully satisfied the request of the Codex company. The consortium has signed a lease agreement for a new office with an area of more than 6,000 sq.m. Prestigious location, developed infrastructure, and business center filling have become key factors for the company’s decision-making.

The readiness of the offices, as well as the constructive interaction of the STAFF with the tenant, made it possible to make the move in the shortest possible time, and the reserve for the required area – to adapt the premises in accordance with corporate standards without compromising work processes.
