Do I Need To Sign A Contract For Minor Repair Services?

We want to call a separate master for each stage of repair, but some services will be very small: to paint the door or move the washing machine from the kitchen to the bathroom. Is it necessary to conclude a contract in this case?

– The Civil Code of the Russian Federation establishes that transactions between legal entities and citizens, as well as citizens among themselves, must be made in writing if the amount exceeds 10 thousand rubles, – explains lawyer Alexander Zorin. – That is, if an organization provides small services, the contract is mandatory. If there is another individual, there may not be a contract, but it is desirable. This makes it easier to prove your case in case of a dispute.  

The registration of these services according to the “act + payment” scheme is also not excluded.
