In the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg, the center for social rehabilitation of disabled people and disabled children on Kamskaya Street has been put into operation.
The project was implemented as part of the city’s Targeted investment program. The work was performed by the contractor Sotex LLC.
The new three-storey building with an area of 1,479 square meters is designed for a one-time stay of 80 people. On the ground floor there is a swimming pool, a gym, a primary reception department (offices for group and individual classes), as well as a reception and consultation department (offices of specialists and the head of the department).
On the second floor there is a meeting room, a dining room, as well as a day care and social rehabilitation department for the disabled. This department includes specialist offices, rooms for occupational therapy, recreation, music and game therapy, offices for a nurse and the head of the department, as well as a computer lab.
On the third floor there is a department of vocational rehabilitation of the disabled of working age, offices of rehabilitation specialists, as well as workshops in fine arts, sewing and carpentry, and a department for self-service skills training.
