Ural Airlines has resumed flights from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Samarkand. Flights from the Russian capital to one of the most popular tourist cities in Uzbekistan were discontinued in early 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic. After the measures taken during COVID-19, the air carrier began to fly to Samarkand from Zhukovsky Airport.
Currently, flights are scheduled 4 times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Airbus A321 airliners serve passengers on this route. It takes about 4 hours to travel between the Russian and Uzbek cities. Tickets for these flights can be purchased on the airline’s official website and from agents. The cost of a one-way flight at the most budget fare is approximately 12,000 rubles.
Recall that Ural Airlines also operates flights to Samarkand from Yekaterinburg Koltsovo airport.
