The lowest average mortgage payment was recorded in the Vologda Region. Residents of the Vologda, Lipetsk regions and Udmurtia have to pay the least for housing loans. At the same time, the average payment amount in the country decreased by 1.5 thousand rubles

According to the results of January — August 2024, the lowest average mortgage payment among the regions of Russia was recorded in the Volgograd region — 23.5 thousand rubles. This was reported in a study submitted to the editorial office by analysts of Dom.RF Bank (statistics are provided according to banks from the top 20 in mortgage issuance).

The materials specify that by the same period last year, the average amount of payment in the region decreased by 153 rubles.

The Lipetsk Region is in second place (23.9 thousand rubles, a decrease of 795 rubles year—on-year), the Udmurt Republic is in third place (24.1 thousand rubles, a decrease of 2 thousand rubles). The top five also included Orenburg (24.4 thousand rubles, a decrease of 3 thousand rubles) and Penza (24.6 thousand rubles, a decrease of 700 rubles) regions, the study says.

  • Kemerovo region (25.7 thousand rubles, a decrease of 7 thousand rubles);
  • Novgorod region (26.1 thousand rubles, decrease by 1.6 thousand rubles);
  • The Chuvash Republic (27.5 thousand rubles, unchanged);
  • Perm Region (28.8 thousand rubles, a decrease of 1.5 thousand rubles);
  • Voronezh region (29.4 thousand rubles, an increase of 950 rubles).
  • The average mortgage payment in the country in 2024 amounted to 33.7 thousand rubles, which is 1.5 thousand rubles less than last year, analysts said.

    Frank RG experts previously noted an increase in mortgages against the background of a decline in other lending. In August, the volume of mortgage loans increased by 6.11%. The issuance of other loans to the population fell, which in total resulted in a decrease in total issuance by 4.2%.
