It is noted that the Federal Air Transport Agency has completed an investigation into the incident with the liner flying from Khanty-Mansiysk to Tyumen on March 15, 2024. “At the stage of descent to Roshchino airport, the aircraft entered the icing zone, the pilots turned on the anti—icing system (PIC), but the PIC of the right propeller did not work,” the message says.

Despite this, the plane landed safely at the destination airport. No one was injured, the aircraft was not damaged, but its operation was temporarily suspended.

Almost four months later, Rosaviation specialists concluded that the probable cause of the incident was the inattention of one of the pilots, who did not press the system power button.

Earlier, the pilots of the Russian airline aircraft saw unknown objects in the sky. An unforeseen situation occurred on board a Boeing 737-800 flying from Istanbul to Moscow on Monday, August 26. On approach to the Russian capital, the crew reported the observation of two large orange-colored balls with a blue tip.
