The cost of a vacation in Russia has grown by 40%, while domestic tourism now occupies up to 40%, said the managing director of the tour operator Let’s Fly and the head of international projects “Fly.” Lyubov Voronin.

She noted that the average check for a trip to Turkey did not grow so significantly — by 20%.

“Russia takes the first place, with about 40% of bookings from the total volume. The average check increased by 40%. This is one of the highest rates among other countries. Turkey is in second place, with about 30% of sales. The average check increased by 20%, an average of 230 thousand rubles per package. Egypt has increased in value by 20%,” she told the National Assembly.

Earlier it was reported that Chinese Hainan took the fourth place in the rating of cheap holidays for Russian tourists in August, losing to Anapa, Sochi and Abkhazia.
