The mayor called the inclusion of all fountains a symbolic completion of the work on putting the capital in order after the winter season
Traditional, dry, floating, as well as musical and light-dynamic fountains were turned on in Moscow. The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, wrote about this in his telegram channel.
“The inclusion of fountains is a symbolic completion of the work to put the city in order after the winter,” the mayor said. He said that before launching, the bowls are cleaned, the serviceability of lighting and engineering systems is checked, equipment is installed and adjusted, and at the last stage of the check, fountains are filled with water.
Special attention is paid in the capital to the restoration of fountains, Sobyanin stressed, recalling that last year, after major repairs, a light-dynamic fountain in the Tsaritsyno Park and a complex of floating fountains on the Drainage Channel were turned on.

Sobyanin recently announced the start of landscaping work in Moscow. This year, 2.5 thousand streets, courtyards, parks and other public spaces will be renovated in the city.
