Chernyshenko: Russia may soon resume flights with South Korea and Indonesia

Russia may resume direct flights with South Korea in the near future. This was announced in an interview with TASS by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The prospect of an early resumption of flights to Indonesia and Saudi Arabia is also being worked out. In addition, Russian airlines are planning to launch flights to Jordan and Kuwait.
The Prime Minister noted that Russia currently has direct international flights with 38 countries.
On May 2, 2023, Russia resumed flights with Morocco, and in July with Cuba. In September of the same year, Russia and Myanmar resumed direct flights after almost 30 years.
