According to the Far Eastern Hectare program in force since 2016, more than 113 thousand land plots with a total area of 93 thousand hectares were provided. Since the beginning of 2024, according to Rosreestr, 7.24 thousand plots have been provided. The first three regions included Primorsky Krai (1.55 thousand), Sakhalin Oblast (1.4 thousand), the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (1.25 thousand).

In September of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his speech at the Eastern Economic Forum, proposed to keep the rate of 2% per annum unchanged on preferential programs of the Far Eastern and Arctic mortgages until the end of their validity period — until 2030.
