Rosfinmonitoring wants to hide its requests for real estate inspections. The owners of such real estate, who are under investigation, thus do not find out that their property was interested in.
The Government has already approved this initiative and the amendments. Mikhail Alexandrov, partner of the A2 Bar Association, talks about why Rosfinmonitoring needs such an initiative.:

But from the outside it looks to me like just some kind of strengthening of the hardware weight of Rosfinmonitoring. I do not know exactly how Rosfinmonitoring conducts its investigations inside, but if we assume that the collection of some operational information begins long before it appears in the public field, for example, a person learns in a year that Rosfinmonitoring is interested in him, then this may be a signal for him that I will get rid of-If I get rid of these assets, I’ll transfer them to someone else or just sell them. Money, after all, is easier to hide later than some real estate, some property. Rosfinmonitoring is designed to combat what? With the financing of terrorism, with money laundering, maybe to some extent with corruption. I don’t think that any people who are involved in this kind of operation, putting corruption aside, hold any significant assets that belong to them. Yes, probably, once again Rosfinmonitoring will not light up when sending its requests.”
Now, according to current legislation, a homeowner can get information about agencies and individuals who were interested in and sent inquiries about his real estate.
