Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to consider providing preferential mortgages to teachers within the framework of the federal project “Professionalism”. The corresponding instruction is published on the Kremlin’s website.
According to the document, the government was instructed to prepare additional measures of social support for teachers of secondary vocational education within the framework of “Professionalism”.
As part of this direction, the Cabinet of Ministers should also consider providing preferential mortgage loans to “teaching staff of educational organizations implementing educational programs of secondary vocational education selected within the framework of the federal project “Professionalism” (including teaching staff trained under this federal project).” The Government needs to submit a report on this issue by August 1, 2024. The person responsible for the task is Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
In the spring, the president instructed the government to submit proposals on providing families with children with the opportunity to purchase housing on the secondary market using preferential mortgages in those localities where “housing construction is carried out in insufficient volume.
