Public utilities continue to rob the population

Коммунальщики продолжают грабить население

In a number of regions of the Russian Federation, the payment for housing and communal services has been replenished with a new line.

The tenant or apartment owner who receives such a payment will have to pay extra for utilities received last year. So far, the amounts are called in the range of one and a half thousand rubles, and what will happen next is anyone’s guess. Apparently, public utilities have decided that they will not have enough profit from a double increase in payment for housing and communal services in 2022. Now they are sending “letters of happiness” to some regions of the Russian Federation.

These bills will come from regional information and settlement centers or other organizations that take into account the costs of consumed resources. To make it so that, according to calculations, the expenses of an apartment building will turn out to be “more than they should be”, for cunning businessmen from management companies (CC) a couple of trifles. But many law-abiding Russians will once again have to fork out in order not to remain in debt to these very Criminal codes, which, according to this abbreviation, remind of the Criminal Code (Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Of all these recalculations, which are so loved by housing and communal services figures, interested parties have long learned to benefit themselves. After all, a simple consumer is unlikely to understand anything and will not understand the murky waters of specially complicated calculations. But people feel the essence in their gut and experience: they have found a way to get into our pocket again, they are robbing us again. If it does not work out by directly raising prices and tariffs, then you can always invent a palliative way to steal.

At first glance, everything seems to be logical. Almost all residents of apartment buildings have meters for light, gas and heat. These counters were able to “adjust” somewhere, and somewhere they somehow managed to replace and increase the data – so it turns out that the actual payment is allegedly less than what is obtained according to the readings of the devices.

By the way, last year, when utility tariffs increased by a total of 13% (and in some places more), Russians were assured: we will now forget about the increase in the cost of services for as long as 1.5 years, until July 1, 2024.

But this was said by the most powerful leaders, and the municipal authorities, as you know, have their own calculations and reasons. They realized that the issues of “surcharges and recalculations” are not the responsibility of the government, but of local authorities. So they are trying to regulate everything in their own interests, spitting on the people and the social policy of the federal center.
