Primary housing in the Leningrad region is becoming more expensive than apartments in houses under construction located in suburban areas of St. Petersburg. This was reported by the analytics center BN.ru .
“So, in February of this year, the average offer price of studios and one–room apartments in new buildings in the Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region increased by 4%, in other districts as a whole – by 10.2%. At the same time, prices in this market segment in the Kurortny district of St. Petersburg increased by 2.9%, in Pushkinsky – by 0.3%, in Kolpinsky district prices decreased by 1.9% and only the Petrodvorets district showed an increase of 5.6% comparable to the neighboring region,” the authors of the study said.
Analysts have identified a similar situation in the segment of new-built “two-bedroom apartments”. The latter have risen in price by 2.26% in Vsevolozhsky district and by 11% in other districts of the Leningrad region over the past month. For comparison, in the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg, the indicator increased by 1.18%, and in Petrodvorets and Kurortny – by 0.79% and 0.55%, respectively. In the Kolpinsky district, primary “two-pieces” fell in price by 2.26%.
