Navigation on the Moskva River has opened in the capital

The 2024 navigation season has begun in the Russian capital. From Moscow’s Northern and Southern River stations, from spring to autumn, ships will run to almost 50 large cities and small towns. New tourist destinations will also appear, including the route from the Northern River Station through Nizhny Novgorod, Veliky Novgorod and St. Petersburg to Valaam, and then towards the capital. A new super-long route will also pass through Moscow: motor ships will sail along the Volga, Don and Kama. This cruise will take 30 days and will allow you to visit 27 cities.

Those wishing to take a boat ride within Moscow should know that the numbering of walking routes has been redone: now all city routes have numbers from 1 to 8, as well as different colors and names, which will not confuse them with regular river transport. For example, the Historical route will allow you to see many of the most important sights of the capital. The current route of electric trains from Kievsky Railway Station will be extended to Fili Park.
