About 200 thousand Russians moved from emergency housing to new apartments in 2023, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said, speaking in the State Duma.

Today, two programs for the resettlement of emergency housing stock are being implemented in the country at once, Mishustin recalled.

The first resettlement program for emergency housing included buildings that were recognized as emergency before January 1, 2017. In 2022, a new resettlement program from emergency housing was launched. It includes high-rise buildings that were declared uninhabitable in the period from January 1, 2017 to January 1, 2022.
