More than 20 thousand residents of these regions have improved their conditions under the national project “Housing and Urban Environment” since 2019
The Vladimir, Novosibirsk and Oryol regions have resettled houses that were declared emergency until January 2017. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.
“According to the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, since 2019, more than 20 thousand people have improved their living conditions in these regions. As of today, 37 regions have already resettled emergency houses identified before 2017,” Khusnullin is quoted as saying on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Deputy Prime Minister also clarified that 8.56 thousand people moved from emergency homes in the Vladimir region, 10.15 thousand in Novosibirsk, and 3.48 thousand residents in Oryol.

In February of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the provision of social housing instead of emergency housing. The innovation will allow the owners of apartments deemed unsuitable for living to receive new housing under a social loan agreement.
