Travel planning service OneTwoTrip talked about the most expensive hotel bookings that its customers made in the middle of spring.

Russians spent the most impressive amounts on holidays in five-star hotels abroad. So, the trip to Venice cost two tourists the most: for 11 days in a hotel with breakfast, they paid 2 million 550 thousand rubles. The second line was taken by a vacation in Dubai: a company of three adults and a child spent eight days in a hotel with two meals a day and gave 1 million 833 thousand rubles. In third place was a long trip to New York: two guests booked a hotel for 25 days – it cost them 1 million 575 thousand rubles (meals were not included in the price).

Inside the country, Russians also vacationed on a grand scale in five-star hotels. The capital became the leader: for eight days in a Moscow hotel with breakfast, two adults paid 766 thousand 500 rubles, Izvestia writes.

Earlier, the Free Press reported the news that large families will receive discounts in hotels and ski resorts.
