The new rules began to take effect on August 1. In May 2024, Moskomexpertiza sent out an information letter stating that negative conclusions would be issued for construction projects for the construction of apartments with an area of less than 28 squares.

Earlier it was reported that the demand for rental housing in Moscow in the first half of July was 10% higher than a year ago.
