Chinese airline Hainan Airlines will operate direct scheduled flights from Moscow to Haikou. The first flight from the Russian capital to the airport located on the most popular Chinese resort island of Hainan is scheduled to take place on August 26, 2024.
Flights are scheduled 3 times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The airliner will leave Haikou Airport at 02:30 a.m., and it will depart from Sheremetyevo Airport in the capital at 14:25. On this route, passengers will be served by A330 aircraft, in the cabin of which there are seats in two classes – economy and business.
Recall that this will be the second flight from Moscow to Hainan: Aeroflot also flies from Sheremetyevo Airport to the named resort, but it delivers passengers to another island airport – Sanya.
Russian citizens arriving in Hainan at Sanya Airport can use visa-free entry. It is still unknown whether such an option will be available at Haikou Airport.
