Experts have found out that Russians often forget when traveling

It turned out who and how often forgets things during trips.

According to Izvestia, the majority of Russians (89%) actively travel around the country. 39% of respondents do this three times a year and more often, 36% — two or three times a year. And only 8% go on a trip every two to three years or less.

As a rule, Russian tourists take quite a lot of things with them.

Russians admitted that they suffer from forgetfulness when traveling. It turned out that 67% of women and 62% of men left something on the trip at least once. The most forgetful travelers are young people under the age of 18 (81% of them forgot something at least once during their vacation) and between the ages of 18 and 25 (72%). But the people of the older generation (60 years and older) are the least likely to leave things – 57% of respondents.

Most often, people forget clothes (41%), electronics (25%) and toiletries (20%), as well as jewelry and accessories (14%). Shoes are less likely to be left (6%), books and magazines (6%), suitcases and bags, as well as documents (5% each). Russians forget things mostly in hotels or apartments (56%). Among the modes of transport, abandoned items are found mainly in airplanes (18%).
