Aeroflot announced plans to launch direct scheduled flights between Kazan and the Chinese resort island of Hainan. The first flight from the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan to Sanya is scheduled to take place on March 21, 2025.
At first, these flights will be operated once a week: the plane will depart from the Russian airport on Fridays at 13:35 local time and arrive at the Chinese airport at 03:30 at night. The flight time is 8 hours and 55 minutes. The return flight will be operated on Mondays: the departure of the liner is scheduled for 08:50 a.m., arrival in Kazan – at 13:20. The flight will take 9 hours and 30 minutes. From March 31, 2025, a second weekly flight on this route will be added, departing from Kazan on Mondays and returning on Fridays.
Tickets for these flights can be purchased on the official Aeroflot website and in the airline’s mobile application, via the 24-hour telephones of the information and booking center, at the airline’s own sales offices and from agents. The cost of a one-way flight at the most budget fare starts from about 34,000 rubles.
