Aeroflot announced the launch of direct flights to the popular winter beach resort in Indian Goa. From October 1, according to the national carrier’s TC, it will resume regular flights from Sheremetyevo Airport to Goa.
“The air line will use wide-body Airbus A330 airliners in a two-class layout: Economy and Business. Flights will be operated twice a week:
- Departure from Moscow on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
- Return flights are on Wednesdays and Sundays.
From October 25, 2024, a new frequency will be added: with departure from Moscow on Fridays and return flight from Goa on Saturdays,” Aeroflot said.
It is also stated that the national carrier “traditionally implements a program of flights to a popular resort in India during the high tourist season in this region: from autumn to spring.” The route is in high demand among fans of exotic holidays, Aeroflot added.
As for prices, at the beginning of the program, on Saturday, October 5, tickets are sold from 44 thousand rubles. During the “peak” New Year’s Eve period, prices soar to 55-64.5 thousand rubles, depending on the departure date.
