A regular tourist bus route has been launched in Vologda, the official Telegram channel of the local tourist information center reports. Every Saturday, “Vologda residents and guests of the city can join this exciting trip and discover the beauty and rich history of Vologda, take a fresh look at significant urban locations and, perhaps, rediscover the ancient city full of mysteries,” TIC reports.
Currently, there are 2 flights on Saturdays: at 10.00 am, a three-hour excursion begins with a visit to the Semyonkovo Architectural and Ethnographic Museum, and at 13.00 you can join a shorter route around the city – the trip will last 1 hour. During this time, you will have time to see such sights as the monument to St. Gerasim, the art object “Door to …”, the monument to the 800th anniversary of Vologda, the monument to the first Vologda lantern at the Red Bridge, the Vologda Oil House, the Zarechny Quarter complex and other significant places.
The tours begin and end on S. Orlov Street at the art object “Bird Talker”. The cost of a three–hour one–hour excursion is 1000 rubles, a 1-hour excursion in Vologda is 500 rubles.
