A Russian tourist spent about 200 thousand rubles on vacation in Sochi and was disappointed with the trip. She shared her story with the portal “Subtleties of Tourism”, her review was published on the Zen platform.

“Was it worth it? Absolutely not. A lot of money was wasted, and our expectations were not met,” a reader of the publication named Elizabeth described her experience in such phrases, adding that it is important for tourists who are going to Sochi to know where to go and which hotels to stay in.

The Russian woman and a young man spent the first part of their vacation at the five-star Sea Galaxy Hotel Congress & Spa in the very center of the city. Elizabeth said that they did not like the breakfasts there. Due to illness, tourists could not go to the buffet and ordered them in the room.

“As a result, they brought us two croissants, cheese and sausage slices and a small plate of fruit. Of course, this was disappointing, because the money paid went nowhere,” the author of the review complained.

In addition, Elizabeth was not impressed by the rest in Krasnaya Polyana, because almost everything was closed there due to the bad weather. “All the fun was not available on the lifts along the way, and the tourist site itself was much smaller than last year, so you can’t really walk around,” she said.

The tourist also complained that they could not get on a horse ride either, because the operator “openly sent them to the phone number indicated on the official website.”

Earlier, another Russian tourist went by car to Sochi and admitted that each of the four days of rest was ruined. She explained that she did not see the “elements of luxury” in the city, which is famous for its expensive life.
