Back in 1988, the then Soviet city of Sochi was visited by Belgian photographer Carl De Keyzer. The foreigner took advantage of the fact that the country was no longer as closed as before, perestroika changed a lot and curious Western tourists began to look into the former stronghold of socialism. And it turned out that life was in full swing there, at least at the resorts it was fun and crowded. Keyser was able to capture a unique atmosphere that testified to the impending inevitable changes.
