Two elderly tourists were injured in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park on March 8.
So, during the ascent at Ermak rock, a 65-year-old woman fell and hit her head, and a 69-year-old tourist suffered a shoulder injury after slipping on a hiking trail. The women were part of different tour groups and went on different routes.
Employees of the Krasnoyarsk search and rescue squad evacuated both victims and handed them over to doctors.
Rescuers remind that heavy ice remains in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars, and tourists without special training should abandon hiking in the territory.
