Now it can take up to 60 days to get a Schengen visa instead of the previously announced 45 days. A message about this appeared on the official website of the EC. The changes were introduced due to “organizational and technical circumstances.” Tourists are strongly asked to submit an appropriate set of documents with a significant time margin regarding the expected date of the trip.
