Ural tourists cannot fly to Turkey. The departure of AZUR air flight ZF-1041 to Antalya is delayed by at least 8 hours at Koltsovo Airport. It was scheduled for 06:30, but the carrier postponed the departure of the vessel to 14:50. “336 passengers are expected on the flight, 73 of them minors, disabled citizens have not been declared,” the Ural Transport Prosecutor’s Office reports.
The reason for the incident is the late return of the aircraft from the last flight. The passengers of the plane became the victim of a fan delay. The night before, the Boeing 767, which is supposed to carry passengers, could not be sent to Sharm el-Sheikh for a long time. Tourists who were waiting for a flight to Sharm el-Sheikh said that the departure was repeatedly postponed due to additional technical inspection of the board.
At the moment, the aircraft has already arrived from Sharm el Sheikh to Yekaterinburg. After servicing the board in the air harbor, tourists still have to fly to Turkey.
In case of a long wait for the aircraft, the carrier, according to Federal Aviation Regulations, must provide passengers with meals and a hotel. If he does not do this, the tourist can buy food and book a hotel room himself, and later demand reimbursement of his expenses.
