In the midst of the summer vacation season, travel agents pay attention to special offers coming from hotels in the Maldives.
Some hotels announce discounts on accommodation in the tens of percent of the standard cost for August dates. For example, Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives 4* offers a 50% discount on all room categories.
Information about a large number of SPOs from partners in the Maldives is also confirmed by tour operators. “Halving the cost is far from a record. The Canareef Resort Maldives 4* villa complex has reduced the price by 60% by the end of summer. There are options with a discount of up to 70%,”– give examples in one of the tour operator companies. Some hotels, instead of direct discounts or in addition to them, are ready to accommodate children for free, provide an upgrade in room and food categories, etc.
Summer is considered a low tourist season in the Maldives, which is why hoteliers try to stimulate demand with special offers. Tour operators note: this gives the result. Due to the favorable prices, some tourists consider summer holidays in the Maldives as an alternative to Turkey – the cost is often comparable, and air travel is only 3-4 hours longer than to the resorts of the Turkish coast. In addition, a “pool” of tourists has already formed who prefer to buy tours to the Maldives specifically for summer dates, since the financial benefit compared to winter trips is very significant.
The rainy season in the archipelago falls in the months from May to October. In July and August, precipitation is usually less than in June and July. Tourists who have vacationed in the Maldives more than once in the summer write in the comments to the post on the topic in the tg channel “Roof of the tourist house”: “A trip out of season is always a lottery in terms of weather. If you’re not lucky, you can get into a period of heavy rains and storms.” There are also such reviews: “We have already rested three times in the summer, and there have never been prolonged rains,” “Nature is unpredictable – bad weather happens in February.” Tourists are advised to choose hotels on the southern islands of the archipelago, where the probability of rains in the summer months is lower than in the northern ones.
Tours to the Maldives with direct flights from Moscow in the first decade of August are now offered in the booking systems of tour operators at prices starting from 354 thousand rubles for two in 4* hotels. In 5* hotels, a vacation will cost from 382 thousand rubles.
