Tourists didn’t like the idea of cutting back on “all inclusive” in Turkey

Туристам не понравилась идея урезать «все включено» в Турции

In Turkey, passions are still raging about how to combine the all-inclusive system popular with tourists with the goals of “sustainable development” (a fashionable trend worldwide, including reducing the amount of food waste in order to preserve the environment. – Ed.).

Publication turiznguncel.com He cites the opinion of the deputy chairman of the Board of Directors of Marti Hotels Group, Emre Narin. The hotelier believes that it is not worth abandoning the popular service model, but it should be reformatted. “Instead of 100 types of dishes on the buffet, there are 50, but of higher quality. The choice of drinks can also be reduced” – this is how the Turkish entrepreneur sees all inclusive 2.0. “Our customers are ready for this,” he says.

But subscribers of the tg channel “Roof of the Tourist house”, judging by the comments on the post on the topic, the idea is not particularly inspiring. There are, of course, opinions for: “Less, but tastier and better? Great.” Some people notice that with a large assortment of dishes, they often do not differ much from each other – for example, due to almost identical desserts, but different appearance creates an “abundance effect” on the buffet. However, tourists doubt that the narrowing of the choice will really be combined with the offer of more refined food. “Does anyone know the positive results of any such optimization? Usually, if something is cut, the quality does not improve and the price does not fall,” “The temptation to make money on savings is too great,” they write in the comments.

Quite a few people advocate that hotel guests have a choice between all inclusive with and without alcohol included in the price. Those who do not consume a lot of alcoholic beverages on vacation are not averse to saving on the cost of tours in this way.

The topic of modernizing the all-inclusive model and even abandoning it is being raised by the Turkish travel industry more and more often. Recently, we wrote about another argument of the opponents of this format – all inclusive “threatens tourists with obesity.”
