When you go to the website of one of the tour operators, the content of only 18+ is found in the register of the Ministry of Economic Development (registration number RTO 021140). A subscriber of the telegram channel “Roof of the Tourist house” drew attention to the incident.
“In search of a host tour operator in Udmurtia, I looked into the register of tour operators on the ministry’s website,” our reader wrote. – The list includes a company with the number RTO 021140 – LLC “Rest”, located in the city of Izhevsk. After clicking on the link, I suddenly saw content intended exclusively for the 18+ audience.”
As the editorial board found out TourDom.ru , the tour operator “Rest” has been operating since March 2019, engaged in domestic tourism. In particular, it organizes bus sightseeing tours in Russia, and also welcomes guests in Izhevsk and Udmurtia. The tour operator’s website is active, it presents current travel programs.
The incident occurred due to an error in the registry. The address of the Izhevsk company’s website is actually written without a hyphen – rest18.rf. The numbers in the domain name were obviously not chosen by chance: 18 is the region code of the Udmurt Republic.
Apparently, the employee who entered the information on the portal of the Ministry of Economic Development accidentally added an extra character. No one checked the data in the registry, nor did they pay attention to the typo in the tour operator itself.
Perhaps the company card in the registry was updated relatively recently, since in March the tour operator concluded a new civil liability insurance contract. Financial support was provided by the insurance company “Granta”.
