Hainan Airlines, which recently announced the opening of direct scheduled flights from Moscow to Haikou (Hainan Island, China), has put air tickets for free sale in the direction.
Economy class seats for the first flight there on August 26, back on September 7 are offered in online booking systems for 38.2 thousand rubles, luggage is included in the tariff (availability and cost are current as of 17:00 on July 22. – Ed.).
For tourists traveling to Hainan for a beach holiday, a flight to Haikou is less convenient than flights to another airport on the island, Sanya, from where the land transfer to popular hotels on the coast is half as short. However, the route to Haikou is suitable for combined tours. Tourists, for example, can stay in the administrative capital of Hainan for 1-2 days, and then go to beach hotels more geographically close to Sanya in Yalong Bay, Dadonghai, Xiaodonghai, Sanya Bay, etc.
According to Sergey Nazarov, Chairman of the Board of directors of the China Travel tour operator, there are no problems with high-quality accommodation in Haikou. There are many hotels of famous world brands in the city, and construction is actively underway. There are also beach hotels, but the conditions for swimming are not as comfortable as in the coves in the south of the island. Tourists can devote time to shopping in shopping malls, as well as excursions.
In the public pages of social networks and on thematic forums in Hainan, it is recommended to visit the historical quarters of the old city with its museums, shops and cafes, China Movie Town, or “Chinese Hollywood”, a cinema city with scenery for shooting films, interactive shows are arranged for visitors. Both children and adults will enjoy the safari park, which contains pandas, as well as a petting zoo. Elite sports enthusiasts are attracted by golf courses in the vicinity of Haikou, yacht clubs on the coast. And MICE-tourism specialists note the convenience of Haikou for holding field conferences and corporate events.
Earlier, we wrote that in addition to Aeroflot’s direct flights to Hainan to Sanya Airport, non–stop flights of the national carrier to this air harbor from three more Russian cities – Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok may appear in autumn.
