Passengers on the flight from Pulkovo to Novosibirsk, which departed on Friday evening, had to stay in St. Petersburg due to an extremely unpleasant incident. As reported in the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Russian Federation, the driver of a special truck that delivers food to the plane made an unsuccessful maneuver, as a result of which the end of the wing of the aircraft was damaged. The airliner was already ready for departure, and the passengers were in the cabin.
Fortunately, no one was injured, and another flight was provided for the flight, which eventually flew to Novosibirsk. It is not reported on which flight this trouble occurred. However, it can be assumed that we are talking about the Boeing of Pobeda Airlines (flight DP 557), which, according to the Pulkovo online scoreboard, took off with an hour delay. The other two evening flights to Novosibirsk from St. Petersburg left on schedule.
A pre-investigation check is currently being conducted at the airport. “The investigator conducted an inspection of the scene, a set of verification measures is being carried out aimed at establishing the causes and all the circumstances of the incident, the damage caused is being established,” the IC explained.
At the end of February, the departure of the Ural Airlines plane was delayed in Pulkovo for several hours due to the search for a suspicious object with which a terrorist attack was being prepared. His presence in the luggage of his own pregnant wife was reported by a man who in such a strange way decided to disrupt her return to her parents in Tajikistan. Nothing dangerous was found on board the liner, and the man may now face up to 3 years of restriction of freedom under a criminal article.
