Pobeda Airlines has finally stopped imposing paid insurance on its passengers when booking flights on the website. The Aviatorshchyna telegram channel drew attention to this.

Now the customer of Pobeda Airlines decides for himself whether to buy any of the insurance services. The passenger is offered three options to choose from: “trip cancellation insurance”, “for the duration of the flight” or “medical”.
Carriers began to remove paid services from reservations after Rospotrebnadzor began to put pressure on them. In 2022, the agency issued a corresponding explanatory letter, but the airlines insisted that insurance was an important additional service, allowing them not to raise the basic tariff. However, after the courts began to rule in favor of consumers, carriers began to make insurance optional.
