Travel planning service OneTwoTrip analyzed hotel bookings over the past year and a half and compiled the top Russian and foreign cities to which its customers most often returned.
In Russia
Moscow became the most popular Russian city visited by the same travelers several times: 23.1% of tourists re-booked hotels in the capital. Bryansk came in second place, with a share of 21.8%, and Surgut took the third place — it accounts for 20.6% of orders from customers who have been returning again and again since 2023.
Lipetsk (share — 20.4%), Khabarovsk (19.3%), Stavropol (18.9%), Kemerovo (18.7%), Novosibirsk (18.0%), Ulyanovsk (17.9%) and Chelyabinsk (17.6%) were also in the top.
Abroad
Dubai is the leader among the foreign destinations where Russian tourists most often returned: 17.5% of travelers have already visited the Arab city several times over the past year and a half. London took the second place, where 16.9% of Russians stayed in hotels more than twice, and Limassol took the third place with a share of 15.6%.
In addition, the list includes Shanghai (share — 15.2%), Thessaloniki (15.1%), Alicante (15.1%), Bishkek (14.6%), Istanbul (14.2%), Cannes (13.5%) and Almaty (13.2%).
