
ATOR reports that on the Aegean coast of Turkey, two Russian tourists were injured in a rockfall in the Saklikent canyon.
The incident occurred during a tour of Saklikent Canyon in Mugla province. At one of the sites, stones fell from the mountainside and two Russians were injured.
An ambulance team from the Seydikemer Devlet Hastanesi State Hospital arrived at the scene. The tourists received examination and assistance under medical insurance policies, they were diagnosed with fractures and bruises.
The women have already returned to Russia on a scheduled return flight on August 11.
The Mugla provincial police launched an investigation into the incident, tourists were evacuated from the area of the rockfall. The canyon itself is closed to the public, there are no guided tours.
