According to the head of the Yalta administration, Yanina Pavlenko, emergency services have already arrived at the scene, they are trying to contain the fire as soon as possible. Fire extinguishing operations are complicated by the high air temperature, which reaches +40 ° C.
The Yalta administration urges citizens and tourists not to block the access routes of emergency vehicles to the place of fire.
The Crimean department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that they received a message about the ignition of dry vegetation in an open area. The fire area is approximately 300 sq. m.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that a natural fire had been localized in the Crimean Koktebel, covering 40 hectares.
