Визовые центры Франции принимают документы, несмотря на технический сбой у VFS Global

Tourists faced problems with visa processing due to unexpected technical work in the VFS Global system. The Visa Application Center announced the limitations of the usual functionality on the official website. Moreover, it is unclear for how long they were introduced. According to representatives of visa agencies, the difficulties began a few days before the official application.

This VC prepares documents for entry to a fairly large number of European countries. However, for tourists from the Russian Federation, France is most interesting, which remains loyal to our citizens even in today’s conditions.

Fortunately for them, the French EC continues to accept documents both in Moscow and St. Petersburg: “Despite the technical work, you can approach previously booked slots. The specialists of the centers work as usual. The personal account is not yet available – it will not be possible to track the status of applications or sign up,” the journalist was assured TourDom.ru in VFS Global.

According to visa agencies, in the current reality there is a problem with paying the consular fee by bank transfer when submitting documents. Therefore, tourists are advised to take cash with them. In addition to filing, the issuance of passports continues. However, those who have documents at the exit of the consulate these days will not be able to find out about the readiness status online.

Globally, the technical work of VFS Global has influenced the VC of other countries. Applications for Schengen are not accepted in the centers of Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Croatia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland, Slovenia, Estonia and Norway.

Earlier TourDom.ru He wrote that tourists were warned about queues for the French Schengen.
