RIA Novosti writes that four earthquakes were recorded on the territory of Georgia yesterday, June 16. Their epicenters were in the Racha region in the north of the country.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Center, the first earthquake of magnitude 3.8 was noted at 13:16 9 km from the city of Oni, the hearth lay at a depth of 7 km.
The second seismic event occurred a couple of hours later, 10 km from the same city, its power was 4.7 points. The third and fourth tremors of magnitude 4.4 and 3.3, respectively, were recorded 7 and 12 km from the city of Oni in the afternoon.
There was no information about casualties, injuries or damage.
